KILBURNFLYER

The Coronet in Elephant and Castle is not a venue I had even heard of before I bought tickets to see Wolfmother there last night. A cracking venue - slightly smaller than Shepherd's Bush Empire but better acoustics, a modern PA and great lighting. Wolfmother benefitted from all of this as well as an extremely enthusiastic crowd to deliver a great show. Starting with a blistering version of Dimension and ending the encore with Joker and the Thief they were very crisp in their delivery on every song. The new songs blended well with those from the first album but the bizarre sight of the evening was when they played a guitar only version of Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush. A great return to London.
