Them Crooked Vultures at Hammersmith was worth the hideous amount of money I paid for a ticket from seatwave. Reminded me that Dave Grohl is a very good drummer and that we have all missed the superb musicianship of John Paul-Jones - apart from the Zep reunion show I cannot recall a recent occassion when he has performed on stage - he must just do a lot of practicing by himself which is a bit lonely. I bought one of the dodgt T-Shirts from outside the venue - don't usually do this but this lot hardly need the money. Didn't know any of their songs but thoroughly enjoyed them - very good show. Wildhearts on Tuesday and the Public Image on Wednesday to round off a good year.
