KILBURNFLYER

The Murderdolls at the Garage last Friday was a great reminder of just what a good live band this lot are. Full of energy and wit arriving onstage at midnight and leaving at 2am with the bar still open for another two hours. Great fun and a great warm up for Ozzfest the next day at the O2.

Skindred got the day under way in usual fashion by getting everyone bouncing around - Benji and the lads were very good but a few of his gags between songs need refreshing - heard some of them 3/4 times now.

Murderdolls - shortened version of last night and just as impressive.

Steel Panther - liking this lot more I see them. The OTT shock of it all with lines like "I've been fucking girls half my age since I was 20" makes you smile at the whole ridiculous way they have been marketed.

Korn - Meh

Ozzy - his voice was good and song choices were so much better than last time I saw him. Didn't miss Zakk and the whole band seemed very tight. Aftershow was a laugh but getting home at 5am two nights running left me feeling a bit jaded.
