KILBURNFLYER

Motorhead were great on Saturday. Have been attending their shows since the Bomber tour when introduced to them by an old schoolfriend. Was very strange to see them over 30 years later. Still as fresh and as loud as ever.

KILBURNFLYER

The Damned last Saturday were the highlight of the Bizarre Winter Ball at the Scala. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with some very weird and wonderful people in the audience. A good trot through the back catalogue - could not think of a song they didn't do that I wanted them to play. Good sound, good crowd and great fun. I do love the Damned.

Motorhead on Saturday and then a 100 Club benefit gig on Weds prior to the joy that is Hard Rock Hell.

KILBURNFLYER

So to the Roundhouse for Alice Cooper supported by Zodiac Mindwarp. I really love Zodiac but they were just shit last night. Nuff said. Alice on the other hand was in fine fettle. Two hours of non stop music bookended by Schools Out. Brilliant over the top stage show that just about fit in the Roundhouse and hit after hit - no more mr nice guy, under my wheels and eighteen being personal favourites. Had the great pleasure to meet him the day before in the margins of a work thing - charm itself.
